I really liked Amarandos Sea View Apartments, really very simple and beatiful architecture..Every small detail for your need is just considered. (First aid kid, bootle openers, coffee maker and toast machine..) Very nice decorated room, practical kitchen. There is even Mommy's tangerine marmelade in the fridge waiting for you as a gift:) Quiet atmosphere, amazing sunrise in the early mornings. In the day time, you can enjoy the the most beatiful sea and in the evenings there is one bar and a nice taverna...where you can enjoy your evenings. Beside all these the nicest thing was the warm hospitality of people who run Amarandos. Hope to see you again dear Jiorgos, Angeliki, Birgit and Mama Nitsa:)

Amarandos Sea View Apartments is in a hidden corner of Chios. If Angeliki wouldn't drive us there, We would never be able to find with local transport. İt's a place where usually locals would go, which is actually an advantage to observe real life in Chios and avoid the crowd. The only problem could be going there without vehicle and moving around afterwards. But you would still somehow manage to move with local buses from Nenita. You have to do your shopping before. The beach is a little bit stony and mossy, but it doesn't matter much. Sea is just lovely and crystal blue. Take care of mosquitos, but actually they even have after bite lotion. Enjoy your vacation!

The view was absolutely stunning at Amarandos. We felt so relaxed staying there and enjoyed cooking in the evening at the apartment. The owners are lovely and very helpful and we would love to go back.

The apartments are really close to the beach in a quiet location. All rooms have a sea view. 17 km drive form the Chios town, was not difficult to find with a touristic map. Perfect for a relaxing holiday away from the crowds. You should have a car though. You´ll need it to explore the villages and beaches in Chios and getting to the apartments with ease.
